New Oras 3S-Installation system for quicker and easier faucet installations

The new Oras 3S-Installation system facilitates the professionals’ daily work.

From now on installation of faucets is simpler than ever. Oras has introduced a unique innovation: the Oras 3S-Installation system for simple, safe and time-saving faucet installations. New solution is based on integrated structure where all the fixing parts are integrated together.

“For example rubber plate is no longer separate part but now integrated to the fixing part, which makes mounting quicker and easier.” Technical Support Specialist Jouko Viljanen from Oras says.

Oras 3S-Installation system helps the installer with an easier and faster way of installing a faucet. Installation of faucets have been done in the same, traditional way for years. Screw and tighten the fixing nuts with a steel plate under the table to one or two threaded bolts. The plumbers often need to work in uncomfortable positions and to screw the fixing nuts with several tools and turns.

The new Oras 3S-Installation System benefits professionals in many ways. System enables flexible mounting for stainless steel sinks and ceramic wash basins from 1 mm up to 40 mm thickness. Innovative fixing part is quick and easy to install, which lowers costs and brings efficiency since more installations can be done per day.
“Feedback from the field has been very positive. Professionals have praised especially system’s quickness and simplicity. Installation can be done with one hand and as one said, even with closed eyes,” Viljanen continues with a laugh.

Oras 3S-Installation system contains:

• Flexible installation key – makes installation easy and quick. 
• A New bottom sealing –installed in the faucet.
• Supporting plate – helps installation in thin wash basins.
• Fixing part – with soft surface with good grip prevents turning at mounting and using.

The product is durable Oras quality and safe to use. Fixing part is made of high quality materials with high mechanical strength and chemical resistance. Material is also safe against long term creeping for more than 20 years. Bolts and nuts – stronger than brass – are made of stainless steel.  Soft surface in fixing part with a good grip prevents the turning in mounting. It also works in a limited space and with existing holes.

Oras 3S – three steps installation process:

1. Install the faucet into the hole and attach the fixing part. Push the fixing part towards the sink from the nut. Use the supporting plate between the sink and the fixing part if needed.
2. Tighten the fixing part first with your fingers.
3. Tighten the connection with the Oras Installation key.
