Replacing a traditional single-lever faucet with a touchless version takes minutes, not hours, with no special tools required.

A touchless faucet can be installed even faster than a traditional single-lever mixer faucet.

A touchless faucet can be installed just as fast as a traditional single-lever mixer faucet.

Installing a touchless faucet is plug ‘n’ play

With its multifunctionality, increased hygiene and water-saving features, the sensor faucet is quickly becoming the preferred option for many consumers as they renovate their homes and replace existing fixtures.

The idea of installing a smart faucet may sound challenging, but we promise – whether it’s a washbasin faucet or a kitchen faucet – an automatic faucet can be installed just as fast as a traditional single-lever mixer faucet.

An electrical connection is usually not required, and both faucets utilise the same infrastructure and washbasin configurations and the same fixing parts – there’s no need for added holes or special adaptors. Plus, all Oras touchless faucet models are equipped with flexible pipes, making it easier to install than copper pipes, especially when space under the sink is limited or tight.

Convenient power supply

Many smart faucets for the home are powered by lithium batteries that fit in a small case under the sink and last 3 to 5 years. The homeowner can easily replace them without professional assistance.

For those large family homes with high usage, a main supply or alternative plug transformer version can also be installed. Generally used in public spaces, plug-in versions simply need an electrical outlet nearby, though assistance from an electrician may be required if no outlet is available.

With Oras App, you can do adjustments to the touchless faucet settings on-site.

Ready to use, right away

Once installed, an Oras touchless faucet comes with pre-set factory settings, and no further adjustments are needed unless the customer has distinct needs. In this case, customisation can be done right on-site using the Oras App – and the faucet can be used immediately, just like with any other faucet.

Your customers can use the app to adjust the afterflow at any time. They can also check battery life, run automatic flushes, adjust the sensor sensitivity and more. This is particularly beneficial for your commercial customers. Building facilitators can save lots of time monitoring and controlling the faucets throughout the building.

“The Oras app lets the hospital’s maintenance staff monitor and control all 168 faucets, down to the individual faucet. As some of the wards may not be in use during certain periods, they can easily flush the faucets automatically, controlling for bacteria in the pipes. This helps the hospital live up to its high hygiene standards.” – Michael Torp, Project Manager, IB Andersen
